Digipak & Jewel Case design
Designing a CD typically requires the following types of content
Cover Art/Photos:
The main cover artwork or image that will be displayed on the front of the jewel case.
Additional photos or graphics that may be included on the inside panels, traycard, or the CD face.
Track List:
The list of song titles that will be included on the CD.
The order in which the songs appear.
Artist/Album Information:
The name of the artist, band, or performer.
The title of the album.
Social media/website details
Any other relevant information about the release
Liner Notes/Credits:
Any additional text content, such as lyrics, thank-you messages, or credits for musicians, producers, engineers, etc.
Copyright information
Other Elements:
Barcode is optional. Many retail locations appreciate them.
Artist logo is optional.
The spine text is generally kept to the artist and album name along with any unique identifier numbers such as an AP number (provided by Altar of Praise Studio)
Layout and Design:
The overall layout and composition of the elements on the front, back, and inside panels of the jewel case and CD.
If stock photos are desired, give the designer an explanation of what you would like to see.
Consideration should be given to how things are organized visually, the style of the text, and keeping the branding consistent.
